With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the collection period for the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza has been extended for another 6 months from 19th October 2025 to 18th April 2026 for the public to continue to donate in order to alleviate the suffering and burden of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

This extension includes the collection platform available under this fund, which is Collection via SMS Brunei Prihatin, which is handled by Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST Sdn Bhd), Progresif Sdn Bhd and Imagine Sdn Bhd; Donation boxes provided in mosques, suraus and religous hall throughout the country, public buildings as well as commercial and banks building in cooperation with the Association of Banks; and, Organizing charity activities for the purpose of collecting donations.

The total collection of this fund as of 15th October is $6,755,890.28. Part of the funds raised has been used for the delivery of humanitarian aid in the form of ready-to-eat meal packets by air-drop carried out from 13th to 15th of March, 2024.
